MySpace Transmissions Offers Music Marketing Opportunities

Myspace MySpace Transmissions offers artists and labels the ability to record exclusive audio and video content linked directly to a sales platform. The new program gives MySpace a stream of original content while providing artists a new avenue of promotion and revenue. The ubiquitous James Blunt is the first artist featured.

All content from MySpace Transmissions will be archived and available on-demand on the MySpace Transmissions profile and via MySpaceTV. Users will be able to add the content to their profiles and virally share the artists’ videos throughout the network and purchase the audio track. (press release)
