Apple Explores Ad Supported Downloads

Applelogo It's far from a sure thing, but it appears from from filings and testimony before the UK Copyright Tribunal that Apple is seriously exploring an ad supported download service.  Apple may just want to make sure that its not left out if the concept currently being pioneered by We7 and others explodes.

As with most things that Apples does, this is a potentially explosive development in a new arena for the music industry that offers daily surprises and huge potential.
