WMG Sends Mixed MP3 Message
First AnywhereCD (run by by the founder of mp3.com Micheal Robertson) started selling a CD/mp3 combo that promises "no restrictions" including some by big name Warner Music Group artists- Then WMG cried foul saying the site had violated and agreement it had made with them. (Who
knew that WMG was making agreements that could even be interpreted as allowing unprotected sales? We'd love to see a copy. Hint. Hint.) - Next WMG said it was OK for AnywhereCD to offer a service to "let" (aka "help") CD buyers rip unprotected mp3's
- Early this morning, CDAnywhere was still selling the CD/mp3 combos of WMG and WMG distributed producted.
- As of this moment, we're confused.
