Microsoft Turns Back On PlayForSure

According to insiders at the CES convention. PlayForSure, Microsoft's DRM system which powers Napster, Yahoo!Music Playfor_sure_1 and others, is doomed to the dustbin of unsupported technologies.  We've been specualtiong that this would happen since the launch of Microsoft's Zune closed DRM system.

These services won't die immediately. Heck I'm still using QuickBooks '97. But this force more of the download stores to embrace RealNetwork's new system or (gasp!) mp3's.
